Okay, this is what I learned about squirrels:
1. They are tenacious. They never give up no matter what the sacrifice (which is why there are so many squirrel carcuses in the road)

2. They can get as long as a stretch limo.

3. They are extremely agile.

4. Squirrel-proof bird feeders are extremely fun to watch

5. Even nature nuts want to "thin" them out and eat them.

6. They have been known to cause severe stress in human relationships.

7. They are really cute!

SHOOT THE TREE RAT!
(I hate those things, between trying to nest in the roof, eating everything around, fruits, bird seeds and spreading their fleas, I see nothing cute in that invasive, destructive specie...)
One good thing: they make for a good gravy stew ingredient.

Hi Wolf, I agree 100%. I had a family of squirrels invade my home once and they actually bore through my ceiling in a couple of places. Had babies in my swamp cooler and created a heck of a mess. Cheers.

Of course. That's what makes the knobs show up so well. I wonder how many she's feeding from that feeder. :-D
