I have all of the recommended programs for Mac. Some are pretty good but none as comprehensive as Photoshop.

I use GIMP - see no reason to change now. And before that I used Paint.net - had to go for the freebies as I was on a non-existent budget back in those days.

Seriously there are a lot of other tools out there ... amazing when one starts looking. I even use Picasa for simple, quick fixes ... like at a dog event when I have to print out the photo and give to the owner immediately.
