Commentary from an expert on terrorism, Mideast affairs:
It seems that Putin is not the only one getting impatient with the rhythm of negotiations taking place between Iran and the P5+1. Also very likely is the fact that he has taken good measure of Obamas cowardice and knows that no matter what the Russian dictator does, the US President wont have the guts to challenge, or even protest, his actions.
So hes decided to add some serious fuel to the fire. To appreciate the gravity of his decision, one needs to understand how dangerous the S-300 anti-aircraft system that hes decided to deliver to Iran is (no to mention the fact that an improved version, the S-400, will also be soon available): it can track up to 100 targets at the same time and fire on anywhere from 12 to 36 planes simultaneously, and from dozens of kilometers away!
That could definitely diminish the chances of an Israeli attack since for now the Iranians Achilles heel is the fact that they dont have an air force able to compete with the IAF. This development increases therefore considerably the chance that Israel will consider its window of opportunity for attack reduced by as many months as the delivery of the S-300 will take...
Anyway, this is another success American diplomacy under Obama can be proud of. The very same man who claims he wants to avoid war at all costs, even surrender, is leading us all directly in the opposite direction.
