Color is better, B&W to many details lost, looks like river is out of banks in the distance.

Absolutely the color - it really grabs me, I want to keep looking at it and I see something new every time.

Hi All,
Sometime last year I took this picture at Shenandoah river in Front Royal, VA. Which picture would you prefer to enlarge it? This is my first Black and White landscape.
The original picture is bracketed and I used HDR processing [Photoshop/Merge to HDR]
1) Color
2) Black and White
3) None
4) Both
Thank you!,
Nate

Oh color to be sure.

I like both ... the colors in the first are beautiful and the black and white looks as thought you've stepped back in time

I like the color versions best of your two shots. If you want a more dynamic b&b try converting your color HDR into b&w. I think you will be surprised at the results.

Sometimes black and white can bring something special out in a photo but in this case I like the color version better.
