Here are some I've taken of my soon to be step kids. The girl was 15 in these shots and the boy was 9 then 10. She had a 2 stroke RM85 then moved up to a 2 stroke CR125. He was on a 2 stroke KX60. Now he is on a CR85. (Yes I know she was really washed out in the first one but it's one of my first shots. Still one of my favorites though.)

Theses are ones I took last year of a small Monster Truck show (no big names...). Last one I wasn't expecting. I didn't bring a tripod or anything and didn't plan on shooting after dark. But that truck lost control and flipped end over end into the fence 10 feet from the announcers stand! People were freaking out up there! So I dialed up the ISO and took a chance with a handheld shot.

Probably not the action shots you were talking about but... I love horses!
All great shots love the Horse arena Movement and Motion was what was ordered.
I got some 4x4ing shots I'm pulling up for you next!
Nice pics. Communicating movement in still pictures is a challenge but when it is done well, it should tell a story. Here is one that the dust and the leaning of the rider in the corner communicates the action
4 Wheeler kickin up dust
Hers's a sport shot I messed up on. A shot of Reggie Wayne of the Colts, No. 87, making a catch from Peyton Manning. I shot this with a Nikkor 16-85mm at f/5.6 at 1 second. Weird but neat.
4x4ing Shots from North Idaho. First one we were wenching the Cherokee up the side of a mountain. Second same Cherokee came down the side and crossed part of the river. Third is a shot from the window of our Wrangler as we crossed a river.
Here in the Black Hills don't let Smoky the Bear catch you tearing up his forest it i=will be a hefty fine and maybe even a trip to the hoosegow They have curtailed our fun to the most part in the hills but the ATV'ers still go where they want and do as they please sucks I have a 1984 toyota that we run out once in a while my wife has a 89 bronco either one of those can get it done.
The club has very strict rules about that. You stay on the trails or in the open run areas or you get fined and kicked out of the club. Coming down into the river is an almost dangerous part of the trail it's been gone over so many times. These pics are all from heavily 4x4'd areas.
We've got a 98 Wrangler that we run. The Cherokee belongs to our friends.
Shots from a Motocross part of the same show the Monster Trucks were in.
