Asking to those that have this big lens bag.....

Is the shoulder harness and waist belt removable??

On the manufactures site, it "seems" that they are....

Could some current owners confirm for me?

John,
Pulled bag this up on the LowePro site. There were several views shown, including a backside view. Hovering over the backside pic, it appears that both the shoulder and waist straps are permanently sewn in, not removable.
I investigated as I am a huge fan of LowePro products and was curious.
You can shoot an email to their customer service. They will respond quickly. Have done this in the past. Great stuff, great company to deal with.

you can use a large Leather Fanni pack they are reasonible on line
I'm Handicapped and I carry at least two extra lenses in a Lowepro lens packs plus the fanniy pack and some times two camera's .
I have tried many camera bags but none seem to work so I ended up with the large fannypack & extra lenses .
Trying to get around with a camera bag & extras leaves me very limited .
any person that is handy capped this is a fantastic solution & forget about a camera bag

The straps and waist belt are removable for transport... Go to B&H photo and watch the product demo: [url]http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?sku=586037&Q=&O=&gclid=CKGU8dCYy8QCFciGfgodTn4AxA&is=REG&A=details[/ur;]

The 600 is a fairly specialized pack... designed to accommodate 400/2.8, 600/4 and 800/5.6 lenses with camera attached and hood in place I use two other LowePro backpacks... a "MiniTrekker" that handles up to a 300/2.8 with hood reversed and a "PhotoTrekker" with a 500/4 with hood reversed.
