Microfiber Cloths.
I use these also...........personally I think they are very good.
If you wash them, never, ever use fabric softener sheets or liquid. They'll smear after that...

I buy my glasses at Costco, and if you ask politely they will give you an extra microfiber lens cloth, which I use on my cameras.
Best cloths I have found.

Is there any kind of standard for Microfiber Cloths? I bought a lens cleaning kit from Best Buy on impulse. It was Insignia Brand. The cloth that was included left all kinds of lint. Does anyone have any recommendations for decent cloths that aren't abrasive and don't shed.
I HAND-wash the ones that I use with "Woolite" with warm water in a CLEAN basin (large bowl) and wring them out very well. Air dry by hanging on a "line" of string.
I have six of these I use for Lenses = 3 for my Eye-glasses // And 3 for my Lenses. I do NOT use the eyeglass ones on the lenses. WHY? = Skin Oils.
My wife insists on using fabric softener and ruins the cloth. So I just throw them away when dirty.
I hadn't heard about the woolite but did about hand washing.....thanks for reminder.
I use Spudz cloths, which come with an attached cover and they work great
I also have al arge promaster cloth which is equally good for lenses.
For the camera body I have a COSTCO microfiber cloth, which I keep in a Ziplloc bag. It is great for wiping dust and damp off the body.
My wife bought a cloth at sunglass world, which is also very good
For general brushing i found travel makeup brushes at Sep[hora, which work well and have a buil;t in cover. to keep them clean. They do get a bit dusty and need to be beaten a few times. I have also found a shaving brush style brush at B&H which works brilliantly. Again the Ziploc bags really help to keep it clean
as to the dust, tyr washing a cloth and let it air dry
I have sent an enquiry to Toray to see where you can buy cloths, once they reply I will let everyone know

Go to any optometrist office. They have lens cloths that work beautifully. A lot of Walmarts have an optometrist store that sells the cloths.
Be very careful, as a lot of those cloth are made for glasses and should not be used on lenses, they can potentionally destroy a lens's coatings!!

I buy these also and I think if I remember correctly I bought them by the dozen, something like that. I use them and I shared them with my parents for their cameras. It was a good investment, especially when you vacation at the ocean.
