Are you still using the Canon 70-200 and the 1.4x teleconcerter. I see the 70-200 f.4 on sale at a very reasonable, unlike the costly f2.8, and considering whether it would be a good purchase.

I use an old 70-210mm USM lens with a tamron 1.4X, and love it. It was one of the first USM lenses, canon came out with a three lens series, a 28- 135mm, the 70-210mm and the 100-300mm. It still works beautifully and is very sharp. Cost used on ebay should be about $100,00
