Does it matter which camera you choose and use? Recently, I saw a collection of images in the Apple.com iphone gallery that are stunning and very hard to believe they were all taken with an iphone. Just wonder if anyone has seen these pictures and what are your opinions?
It' not the camera, It's the photographer.

Mama took my kodachrome away
That's because you have a Nikon!
I can shoot with a homemade box camera you have to know why and what you are useing the camera for if you just want to see yourself use a smartphone.
Their are expensive cameras and their are cheap cameras and their is specialty cameras the all have there purpose the lens is what to be the best.
A picture on a computer, phone or iPod all look great but the printed picture need more pixels. The other part of the equation is the control of the picture as depth of field etc. If you want pictures on the screen go not and use the iPhone etc. If you want photos us a camera.

Three (3) ways to spell it.
THERE, THEIR, THEY'RE.
It matters if you if you are printing your work or selling your work. If you are just putting your work online or leaving it in your computer it probably doesn't matter.. If your images are crappy ,, all you will get with a higher resolution camera are crappy images with a higher resosultion.. ... In the real world camera and lens matter

Someone here said if you are going to enlarge and sell photos yes it matters. But I have always understood, it's Not the kind of camera you have, but it's knowing how to USE the camera you do have. So if someone has an iPhone and knows how to use the camera in the phone and maybe some help from Photoshop or another Photo Program and Yes they can produce some great pictures. Yes having a Nice camera VS and IPhone there is a big difference. But again it's about knowing your camera inside and out and knowing HOW to use your camera.
Don't be sorry that you asked the Question. Just know that every time you do, Someone out there will turn it into it around and get off the Original Question and you people know who you are... :-)

No, I didn't miss it, I just ignored it. Didn't want to overwhelm the person, correct all his grammar and spelling. His spell check should have caught that one.
