Red Tail Hawk eating a Red Squirrel

The commotion of the crows caught my attention then I saw this hawk on the ground , the crows would fly at the hawk and the hawk would cup its wings and glare at the crows as they dove at him, next with his wings cupped he would put his head down and eat his squirrel...... and when his head was down I would stalk closer in by inch, I moved in shooting 50 + pictures along the way, I was about 80 ft away when I started and and cut the distance better than in half , when he finished eating he flew into a nearby tree so that I could get a few more pictures.
