adobe elements 10 problem

anyone else have this problem.
in elements 10 in the full edit mode my list of tools have
vanished from sight.
in the quick edit mode all tools for that program are shown
in guided edit mode everything for that program is there
and working fine.
if anyone has an answer for this problem I would appreciate
your help. Thank you Dick Duffy

I have PSE 11, but expect the solution is the same:
In the menu line, select Window -> Tools
and you should be good to go.

If I hadn't been in this muddle myself some time in the past, I may not have known the answer. But hey, we learn and carry on! Enjoy PSE, it is a great program (Have worked my way through versions 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12. I'm skipping 13 and in September or October this year, hope to get version 14.

How hard would it be to put a little button on the pasteboard to bring the Toolbox back? It disappears mysteriously and then I'm pulling the Windows menu down -- maybe 5 times a day -- to get the Toolbox back. Everything else on PhotoShop Elements 12 and 13 has been so thoughtfully designed. Does Adobe ever ask the ordinary photographer for suggestions about improving the PhotoShop products?

I wonder why it disappears, though?
I have been using PSE since version 7, so that's over six years now. Not once has my toolbox disappeared on its own accord. One time it did go, but that was because I wanted more space in the work area. After the fact I couldn't remember how I made it disappear, and it was a royal pain to get it back.
As to asking the "ordinary photographer" - they don't ask them person-to-person, but twice now with PSE I've seen a box where I could check/uncheck if I wanted to participate in their program about how I use PSE. If you say 'yes", your computer sends them reports.

I think it should be covered under reset all tools button
located in the edit mode. its the little triangle right under file. but its not there. I have lost the crop tool a few times as well as the size indicator of the clone stamp
tool. the reset all tools button did not help.
