If you do that Dave be sure to put up some shots as I will be doing the same. Should be fun to compare results.

OK, deal. I'll have to dig through the archives and see if I can find some practice shots with the Zeiss/NEX combo. The NEX has similar resolution to the D7000, 16mp APS-C. I have a D7000, too, along with a D610 for comparing results.

Yah RWR, appreciate your experience with the Hass lenses on Nikons. What would you suggest on a first lens? I would be shooting anywhere from portraits towards macro. I have an opportunity to select a specific Hass lens so your recommendations would be instrumental in my selection. Thanks again.

Did you ever get the Nikon adapter Dave. If so, how did you like the results? Just getting to the Hass lens to the Nikon and will try it on my D2X, D300 and D7000.

Try this fotodiox adapter if your Hassy lens is the V type.

I have the Fotodiox Mamiya Sekor C mount lens to Nikon camera adapter and it works flawlessly.

Say, it's been awhile. You really can't go wrong with any Hasselblad lens, but for you're purpose I'd say the 80 f/2.8 Planar would be an ideal first choice, even with extension tubes. The 120 f/5.6 S-Planar is superb also, albeit slow.
There's some good information on the V lenses here:

Have fun!
