Wishing I were back there.
I hurried to Arches National Park after I learned that a large
slap had fallen from Landscape Arch. I wanted to photograph it before it collapsed. The trail to it was closed.
However, that was more than ten years ago! Mother Nature must have healed it!
I really enjoyed the Arches National Park in 2013. At the time I was still using a Sony point and shoot.
Max zoom have not idea of the distance other than it was far away.

Arch was huge

From the trail head my guess is it was over a half mile to the arch.

Thanks it was a great vacation, We spent 2 days in Moab. We Jeeped one day with a guide in the Sand Flats and then did the Arches National Park the next day.

This was an interesting photo. I will let others see if they can pick out why I find it interesting.

You picked it out. Job well done. I just had to take the shot when I saw it. It was Moab on the way to Sand Flat for a Jeep ride.
We were in Moab about 2 years ago but missed this photo opportunity.
I'm going for first time next month (5/15) and hoping to hit some of the backroads. Am getting cranked up already and hope can get a "few" good pictures...
