These were fascinating. I can't imagine what type of equipment you must have used to take a picture of something as small as a snowflake - did you use a macro lens or something "special". Of course, I live in south-east Texas and it only snows here occasionally - about once every 10 years or so. When it does snow the flakes are tiny, perhaps they are a little larger where you are in the north. If it ever snows here again I'm going to try it.

:thumbup: Looks like a short stack may be something to consider in the future, since some of these beautiful flakes aren't all flat. :wink:

Nice photos... :-( Nothing personal, though, but I have snow shoulder-deep outside my house. I neither need nor want to see more snow close-up! I am NOT on good terms with snow right now.
