Great set and sampling of two of our great parks and wonders of nature. I've visited many times and will return soon.

Great shots, all! #2 is from Jenny Lake? If my memory ain't ALL gone, I'd say the angle is more nearly from farther North, like Jackson Lake? Still, love the lot!

Thank you for your compliments. Yes, you are right, it is not Jenny Lake and I apologize for the mistake. It is Lake Jackson.
I shot a sunset at Jenny the night before and that made me make the mistake.

William, you show a mastery of a wide range of techniques. I'm kind of traditional so I think #1 is about as perfect as it gets. Hope you have a big space on a wall for it.

Thanks for sharing all your images with us.

Greg, it was very nice from you to look at my post and make such nice comments about my humble photography. I do have a print of that shot and believe it or not it is not hanging on the walls of my home.
I am kind of traditional too and prefer pastel colors but at times I have to put traditional aside and do what I know is best for the photograph. I use Topaz Adjust 5 to edit a large proportion of my photographs but I cut the effect to make the photograph look more realistic. In other words, I enhance the photograph but try not to depart from reality.
Many times I have to desaturate colors to reach the true colors I like.

Susan, in case that you did not read my explanation of that shot Freeman Paterson, the great photographer from Canada calls that technique "subrealistic images." As I explained, it is made by using a small lens opening with a slow shutter speed (I used a polarizer) that gave me an extra 2 stops with its filter factor which allowed me to use f22 with a slow shutter speed.
I like this technique and I use it sparingly. I does impart a painterly, dreamy effect to the subject.
Thank you for your comments.
