I'd want to buy some of that. Where can I get it?

I'll tell you this, I use it everyday on the job site. Yes, it will cut through rust and gook, but it will also work as a bug (wasp) killer, as well as a cleaner for many adhesives. Many other uses as well.

Incidentally, from what I read this formula was the fortieth for water displacement, thus the name. Whattever happened to the other thirty-nine? :) :)

I've heard the main ingredient of WD-40 is fish oil. It's good for about everything, a staple of the garage. I buy mine in a gallon can, always seem to have trouble with the nozzles on the spray cans clogging up.

This is not a genuine ad; it has been floating around the Internet for months... but it makes good reading. Funny!

I would suspect you can get them in any 'big-box' chain, like Home Depot or Lowes. I'm thinking I paid around $15 for mine.

1967 -- We chased "practice" torpedoes from Submarines... adjacent to San Diego, Coronado Islands, Point Loma etc. This airplane company needed to experiment if this product would affect 'rust" on torpedoes that we retreived? We sprayed it on the "torpedo tube" and the propellar area. It worked perfect. The other thing it worked for was the "red", "green" lanterns on Coranado Island, identifying docking locations..

We used to spray some fishing lures with WD 40. Don't know if it really helped but those lures sure did catch a whole lot of fish.
