That is a great shot! I would say you got the hang of that lens already. It takes a little while to get used to the tracking of a fixed lens but it looks like you got it! No cropping? Can't ask for anything more.

Thanks so much Jim D, so glad you enjoyed. I really like the weight it helps when panning, makes it much smoother. The engine noise flushed the GBH and he crossed our bow, and I was lucky to keep him in focus. I had time for one shot before we blew past him, and got it right. Greatly appreciate your looking and kind comment, thanks

I use to make statements about getting lucky on a shot. I no longer make that statement. I got informed by someone I really admire here that shots like that are not lucky. If you didn't have the skill to get the subject in the frame you would not of gotten the photo. It takes skill to learn to track a subject and without that skill we would never get good photos!

Great tracking, and a great shot!
