BTW, I am not well versed in gaming the system like some welfare rat! I always thought this country stood for equal opportunity. It appears we have been categorized, divided up and can no longer speak with one voice. That's the problem with the ACA or any government program.

ACA was a way for people to have access to group policies that didn't have this access before. They didn't invent anything.

Couldn't prove it by my personal experience. Also, you are in for a rude awaken regarding your employer policy.

I just got my stuff for 2015 and it is the same as 2014.
I pay less at Kaiser than Kaiser employees pay. I don't pay anything for my policy for me and my wife.

That's because you are in a union and the non union workers got f_____ to subsidize yours. But then you are ok with that.

My employer pays the union the union pays Kaiser how is anyone getting screwed? And just because I know you are interested I'm not at work right now. The employer obviously thinks it's worth it. If my paying a little more would in some way mean more people would have health coverage I would be OK with it.

The company I work for must be profitable enough that they are good with it.

They don't need to be good with anything, you are getting a pass on the backs of others.

If it wasn't profitable for the company to use union engineers they wouldn't be doing it. My job can not be shipped off shore.

The government doesn't create jobs, the private sector does. A good percentage of Tea Party activists are business owners! Something Obama or Biden wouldn't know anything about.

The government CAN create jobs if the want to, we have bridges collapsing, and roads in need of repair etc., but that doesn't help the rich so so the party of Dick (Nixon) only cares about limiting voting and telling women what they should do with their bodies etc....

Then why didn't they JUST fix that? Why create this overbearing, overreaching juggernaut with consequences we are just beginning to realize?

Come on... "We have to pass this to see what's in it..." Really? You cannot deny that that is absolutely absurd.

We should have passed a single-payer system. Expand access to the same one most of the geezers on here already use.
