Science can't replace God, He is non material.

Tea and water yes. Not mambo Jumbo, DNA information codes proves that Neo Darwinian evolution is false.....dead false.

What we know about DNA comes from science. Science "proves" nothing. Science works from theories.

There is no mention of DNA, as such, in the Bible.

You have yet to provide any scientific evidence that Neo Darwinian evolution is true, and that the non material information code embedded into the material DNA molecule was created by chance.

I am an atheist, or more precisly an antitheist, I dont think christians are nuts. I just think you're looking for a simlpe answer. There are are many things that we don't understand, the world is a beautiful place. But to say god did it, is just acceptance not understanding. It is the lazy way.

Yes I agree what we know about DNA is from observation and testing, it just proves Creation not chance. The DNA and the information within the DNA molecule is extremely complex that it is impossible to have come by chance....it's stupid.

"proves" and "dead wrong" are not good terms when there is much to be learned. I shall stick with science and not Racmanaz, whose mind is made up.

Well I'm glad you don't think we are nuts, many atheists have called us nuts. I did not come into belief in God because I had no answers to life or the process of how we got here. I thought I already had that answer years ago when I believed in evolution. I came to Christ when He called me into His Kingdom, before that I had not desire nor any intention of becoming a believer. God is not the simple answer, He is the only viable answer to life and I found that out when He called my name. I don't expect you or anyone else to believe in God because of evidence of Him through His creation via science or anything else. Nobody can come to the father unless the Father draws him/her. The ONLY way anyone can come to God in belief is that He calls you and you respond positively. No amount of evidence will win you or anyone else over, that is not my intention. I do pray He Himself will call you and other skeptics and reveal to you that He is real like He did with me. Remember, I didn't come to Him because of physical evidence for or against, I came to Him because He called me in and I said "Yes, I believe"!!!

I will stick with God because He is eternal, you can stick with failed science all you want....my God never changes because he is true, science always changes theories because theories are almost always wrong......that's why it needs changing like dirty diapers lol

No one on this thread said you were nuts? You are perhaps playing that "poor woe is me thing" that so many so-called Christians do when they think their belief is being attacked.

Just to help you understand, I do not think you are nuts, any more than I think atheists are nuts or anyone else is nuts. You have yours and I have my beliefs.

Rac- You are cherry picking to create a misunderstanding. Margulis looked at mutation as a driving force and found that there were other drivers as well, including endosymbiosis and horizontal gene transfer. She did not exclude mutation, she added additional explanations.

"Holy" will not discredit the contributions of Science, ever, and Science is not out to discredit "Holy." You seem to dwell much on this idea.

Science flourished when laws were passed that prohibited Holy punishment for those who wanted to inquire into how nature functioned away from the thinking of Holy.

It seems both are here to stay, and that one will not do away with the other in the near future.

In a Nutshell

"The “Cambrian Explosion” refers to the appearance in the fossil record of most major animal body plans about 543 million years ago. The new fossils appear in an interval of 20 million years or less. On evolutionary time scales, 20 million years is a rapid burst that appears to be inconsistent with the gradual pace of evolutionary change.

However, rapid changes like this appear at other times in the fossil record, often following times of major extinction. The Cambrian Explosion does present a number of interesting and important research questions. It does not, however, challenge the fundamental correctness of the central thesis of evolution."

Remember, too, that it has been estimated that the earth is only 6,000 years young. Hell, man I have rocks in my front yard older than that.

Again, no one on this thread said you were "nuts," no matter how much pleasure you may get from thinking so. "nuts" is your word.
