We have crocus and snowdrops blooming in our front rock garden. It is great to see them, but I'm afraid it is way too early for them to be poking up in the first week of February.

The white variety looks like spring (also fall crocus) and it's usual for them to appear this early, or late in fall ( like late November-early December) then re appear in early spring.

It's been in the 70s the past couple of days, and that is supposed to last until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

But we get most of our snow here in March and April, and sometimes into May. I've never seen these flowers bloom so early in the seventeen years I have been here.
