Looking for a Phoenix area camera shop that carries some of "lesser" brands like Sony, Fuji, Olympus and Samsung. I'm aware of Tempe Camera. Any other recommendations? Thanks for the help.

You might try "Foto Forum". It is located on 7th street just a few feet south of Camelback rd. on the west side of 7th street. They are the only true camera store left in the valley now.
Regards, Jim

I'm an exclusive Tempe Camera customer. If they don't have something, I'll go elsewhere. Then it's usually B&H or Adorama.

Why would anyone want a "lesser" brand when they could buy a more popular brand like Canon and Nikon and pay more for fewer features. Certainly, stay away from Sony!! We all know they sell their sensors to Nikon, have advanced features and win many awards!! Panasonic, not a "lesser" brand ?? better or worse than "lesser"?

Not picking on you specifically, at least you are interested in finding these cameras. Too many are conservative fundamentalist that believe in Only One of two Gods, Nikon or Canon and continual bicker over which is the better best.

A totally irrelevant observation. Many years ago Candid Camera, a TV program that set up people in uncomfortable situations, set up a Phoenix camera store to entrap someone they had identified. Right in the middle of the scene, in walks Barry Goldwater who, besides being a politician, was an avid photographer. Blew the whole scene for Candid Camera. Sweet revenge on CC! Goldwater came across as a really nice guy.

Just thought of another one, PhotoMark. They've downsized and moved from Phoenix to Scottsdale, 7038 East Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
(602) 244-1133. They are quite a bit smaller than at their Phoenix location.

I had the unique opportunity to have coffee with Barry and his wife Susan some years ago, between 1990 and 1996. He had a great personality and was quite humourous. He was a genuinely nice person.
