Every once in awhile I'll see bark stripped from a tree and never was fast enough to get a picture of the bird. LOL

Thank you so much, Dan. The bark is indeed smooth, but it's because the tree is a crepe myrtle, and the bark constantly peels leaving the wood smooth underneath. I haven't noticed the birds ever stripping our trees, but the squirrels certainly do. :-D

I wouldn't have gotten that one either, Dan, if I hadn't been shooting out the window. lol

I'm afraid it was raining, Merry. It's been so dark and dreary lately, but the birds seem to like it. Thank you so much. I'm so glad you like my birdies. The cardinal is my favorite too. :-D

Once again Donna you have everything going with these -- detail, colour, composition.......the works.
Saying that, I don't want to overlook your processing -- beautiful work.

They're predicting sunshine for tomorrow, and I hope it comes your way too, Merry. It's supposed to be a lovely weekend, but we'll see. :-D
