Two days ago it was a cloudy and cold day. These 3 different eagles were about 3/4 mile apart ( that's why I do a lot of walking ). The distances to the eagles are stated with each photo. They were all shot at 600mm.
Only you can get great photos on cold & cloudy days!

I hate looking at your magnifigant Eagle photos, because they make me rtealize how inadequate a photographer I am. Just kidding of course. Your work gives me something to emulate.
Thank you, boberic. Almost anyone can become a great photographer if they are willing to put their heart and time into this fabulous hobby.

I have been using cameras for close to 45 years,I hope by now I have become at least adequate, but only in my dreams do I approach great.

Thank you, Beth. I put on my battery aided gloves that keep my hands warm and 2 pairs of socks, heavy coat, etc. and get out there and walk one to 2 miles to photograph these beautiful birds because they are here for only about 6 weeks and I want to make the best of a good situation. It's worth it.
I get a lot of fresh air and good exercise which I need because I am a diabetic. Plus there are very few scenic vistas that can compare to our beautiful north Idaho landscapes except for your SW part of Colorado.

You make my day with your gorgeous eagle shots. I know how hard it is to find such beautiful creatures. Thanks for sharing.
