The comets delicate gas tail is tinted blue owing to fluorescing charged molecules of carbon monoxide however all I can make out is the blue green nucleus. Most sites are reporting the same thing.
Tonight I shot with my 5" SCT and 25 seconds at ISO 2000.
Noisy but viewable.
I could not see it in my view finder or live view so had to get it centered with a telescope lens, fiddle about with focus, shoot, adjust and try again.
All while racing the moon which cut my party short.

You done good! I was able to get off a few shots last night too. Never could get the tail to show up.

Thank you, My weathers supposed to go back to cloudy. I'll have to wait to play with some filters I ordered.
So many stars, so little time. ;)

Good luck. Your astronomy shots are so interesting, even this one that looks a lot like some of my early first failed moon shots :) I know it's not, and I know you put a lot of effort into these and a lot of time. Thanks for sharing your view of the stars, and good luck with the weather too. I'll put in an order for clear skies for you :)

It's a star but I don't know which one. Thanks for the compliment. It's been cloudy for the most part this weekend.
Had a small window to shoot the Orion Nebula.
