After watching this site for a few weeks, I've decided to take the next step of posting. I'm from Albuquerque, N.M., about 2 hours from the Bosque del Apache, mecca for myself and several tens of thousands of feathered friends. These photos were taken over the holidays with the Tamron 150-600 on a Nikon 7000.

Nice shots. Where I am we may see one Sandhill Crame a year if we are lucky! This year it was none. I'm envious. Keep posting!

Where did you get the tamaron 150-600 from. I have a nikon d7000 and would love to get a bigger lens. Your comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

B&H has it in stock:

I purchased mine from them. They are reputable and very well regarded here on the Hog.

I ordered the Tamron from Amazon in early Nov. It arrived Dec. 12th I think. I'm very pleased with the lens. Perhaps more than other lens in my experience, it seems like it's important to "cooperate" with it. It is being a joy to learn how...
