Hello!

I have been a subscriber to the newsletter here for a while now, but this is my first photo post. I don't have an avenue for critiques of my work as of yet (other than non-photographer friends) so please let me know what you guys think(And if I've posted correctly!)

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve there is a forum "Photo Analysis" where all the critics hang out, you may want to try it. Thanks for posting your first shot. And welcome neighbor. Santa Maria, CA. Are you interested in astronomy???

Steve,

Since you asked, what I think is ...
A gentle, captivating image. Color is rich and warm, but quiet. Composition: the rocks in the lower left serve to lead the eye nicely toward the main "eye magnet" (the dome in the ring); the horizon and sky serve to help "capture" the main subject, preventing the eye from wandering out the top of the image. I might have tried leaving a little more foreground in and cropping just a tich of the topmost sky (might give a little nicer balance). In sum, a well seen, well crafted image. A keeper.

Respectfully,

Nice but if you don't mind letting folks have the ability to view it in a larger format then please check the store original box. :D

I don't get that . I can blow it up to fill a 20 inch Mac screen with just the
center of the ring . in a instent just by siding my fingers ? what box do you mean ?

I don't know I can make it the size of my screen even make the bubbles in water the size of the screen . I guess it's because it's a Mac .

If you click on the box next to browse that says (store original) it will allow those of us who don't have touch screens to make it a little bigger. I could do it on my phone too but what would the point of that be?
