Hello golden and welcome :) If you are talking about keeping the camera on the pitcher and taking several shots that would be more like photo stacking ... trick photography... multiple exposure thing where you can put the same person in the photo over and over doing different things.
However if you are talking about following the ball from the pitcher's hand to the batter then yes that would work.. what you would need to do is take a shot of him holding the ball and then try to capture one of the ball as it's coming to the batter .... would take 2 photos to do this panorama.

Good Morning everyone at UHH...I have missed all of you! I only have a few minutes but wanted to let all of you know that I'm still around I just can't spend much time on the computer right now. I am trying to keep up with what you are doing on the daily challenges...I just won't be able to do much posting or commenting for a while. Paul, a very sweet man and wonderful friend of mine died last week and I have promised his wife (Sissy, my closest and dearest friend) that I will stay with her as long as she needs me. I have been with her night and day since his death. She returned to work Monday and so now I am home during the day and with her when she returns home from work. I like to be there before she gets home so she does not have to return to an empty house. Steve (my husband who also loves Paul and Sissy dearly) is very sweet and understanding about this & doesn't mind sharing me & my time with Sissy. So, it may be a while before I get to spend any time with all of you...but I am following the thread and trying to keep up with what you are doing...I don't want to get behind! Please keep us in your prayers....we need the strength, wisdom and peace that only comes from God...to get us through this.
Here are a couple of Roosters, Sher..... ;-)

Both you and your friend are in my prayers. I did that for my mother-in-law after my father-in-law died. Now she lives with my wife and I.

Thank you so much for your prayers...prayers from friends help give us strength. And may God truly bless you for taking care of your mother-in-law.

Last one....gone for a bit

neat idea to go up to down!

Song...OK, I took these shots vertically ( camera in vertical position), took three shots. Then as youdownload them they will be horizontal. Stitch them as such and then when the product is finished, go rotate by 90°

Anyone here who can explain it better? Hope so, feel free to reply

To do a panorama vertically like the church RR posted .. you don't need to have the camera sideways ... you can keep it straight ... just start the shots at the top ... and move down for each photo .. making sure you overlap some so the software can match up the information on the subject.

I did it vertically to eliminate cropping as there was a pole next to it not far away
