Ho, ho, ho! Mr. Angler has got himself a portrait shot! Good thing I was sitting down. I am glad to see you venture out of your box. That wasn't so now hard was it?
As I look at it, I could say that you could have brought down the over brightness on her face some, but with your vignetting effect, it blends itself rather well. And if you like it, then I like it. I like it anyway.
In all seriousness, I think you should take more portrait/head shots of your family anyway (if you haven't done so already) just to have them. Your family will always enjoy them!
This is very cute, Jim! Is her name "Robin"? Lol. Charlotte is a good name also.

Looks like a beautiful young lady, photographed by an expert. Be proud of the picture, even prouder of your granddaughter!

Angler, Nice shot just a little heavy on the effect sorta fights with subject for the attention of the viewer the shot is great.
there is nothing wrong with the shot--nicely done
I do NOT like the 'frame' it takes away from the main subject which is your grand daughter. It is far too busy an image with the 'frame'
--just my thoughts hope you are not offended
