The last time I posted something almost exactly like this some smart ass answered me back with, "And all the people with pre-existing conditions thank you"!
Your turn!

And your homeowners insurance went up because some suckers house burned down or was damaged by a tornado or hurricane. These people are so inconsiderate.

Yes, that's my point. The Medicare program offers a successful model of a single-payer system for medical care.

How about we go to Medicare for all ? Everyone on Medicare seems to like it and administrative cost are very low.

Stop lying to others and to yourself. If you dare, read this news story:

"There Is No Shortage Of Doctors Willing To Take Medicare Patients"

http://www.forbes.com/sites/howardgleckman/2013/12/18/there-is-no-shortage-of-doctors-willing-take-medicare-patients/

A quote from the story: "But the Kaiser report, based on 11 different government and non-governmental studies, concludes there is simply no evidence that physicians are bailing out."

Going to a single-payer system for universal medical care, as do other nations, would resolve virtually all concerns regarding coverage and payment.

This citizen senses one day the Congress will scrap the ACA in favor of a single-payer system.

Like France, Canada and England ? they don't look so good after all theses years , and the taxes keeps going up and nothing to show for it .

I've lived in 3 different states since I went on Medicare. I have never found a doctor who did not accept Medicare. With the aging population most doctors will have to accept Medicare or they won't have much of a practice.
It is surprising that so many people on this board have a single payer system, Medicare, and don't want others to have it too.

Nothing to show for it ? Most of those countries spend less per capita on health care and have better mortality rates than we do. Google it and see for yourself.

It depends on which coverage parts you have. That is what I have found out.

Valid Opinion is right. I also know several TP people and even though they deny it, their actions show them to be racist.

Not sure what you mean. Do you have Medicare or Medicare Advantage which is run by insurance companies as a PPO ? I have regular Medicare with a supplement that covers the 20% not covered by Medicare. No deductible and no co- pay.

Agree. I travel a great deal and have talked to Canadians, Brits and Aussies. They all think their health care is great and think we are crazy here in the US.
Americans are blinded by insurance company propaganda. The big insurance companies don't want to give up their lucrative administrative salaries and hospitals love to sell you their $50 aspirins.
