Regis, you have me at the point where I look for your eagle photos every day. I know you said they will migrate south soon, but it is great to enjoy them while we can. Thanks for sharing your talents.

Both super captures, the squirrel is a little cutie Regis. :D

Thank you, Sylvia. The squirrels I have seen around here are small and cute looking. I haven't seen any large ones, but I'm sure they are here somewhere.

Very nice shots Regis! That Tamron 150-600 lens is working out very well for you.

Yes, HowardPepper, this lens is a great one for the money and almost as good as the $10,000+ prime big boys.

Regis, Your photos are fantastic and I always enjoy looking at them, but I have to ask if you sharpen them in PP or are they this sharp right out of the camera?

Thank you, dvan7117. The photos are very sharp right out of the camera, but I sometimes add some extra sharpness and contrast.

Regis, Love this one as well. I recently purchased a 6D and love the results. I wonder however whether having something faster like a 7D might have some advantages. I guess it would be a swap, speed for quality. Thoughts?

Thank you, Nalu. I would rather have the quality over the speed. I may not not get as many shots with my Canon 6D versus the 7D, but I will get a better quality photo. The end justifies the means.

No need to worry. Eagles are fish hawks. Great shot of the eagle

I appreciate your kind reply, boberic. I thank you. The Eagles love to eat salmon.

The Bald Eagle was about 79 yards in distance and the squirrel was 6 yards away.
The eagle was shot at 600mm and the squirrel was at 300mm.

I thought Bald Eagle w/ squirrel also, glad it was 2 photos, not one for the squirrels sake! Great photos!

I wouldn't want to shoot an Eagle attacking a squirrel. I'll leave that for another photographer to do. But, I thank you, Beth, for your kind reply.
I'll have to be more careful with my photo titles.

I agree! I was recently down at the Sonora Desert Museum taking some shots at the Raptor demonstration and had some cameras around me which were faster than my 6D which caused me some envy, however I got some shots that I am very pleased with which I will share. Thank you for the inspiration to try to get back into chasing some birds.
