Sure, Beth. But you better hurry before they disappear early next month. There must be Bald Eagles in your scenic and mountainous area?
Thank you, Beth for always looking at my photos.

I have seen them, but I have only seen them a couple of times & don't seem to stay in one area to go look for them.

Yesterday was the sunniest day we have had for awhile around here and I think I got more detail out of my photos. All 6 photos of the eagles were about 100 to 150 feet in distance and were shot using the 600mm setting.

Very nice, Regis!

Saw "my" eagle on a tree today, but it is so foggy/rainy could not get a decent shot. Hopefully he will still be around after Christmas.

hi Regis I have been watching your Bald Eagle posts and I agree with you on the detail , what a beautiful bird he is the Bald Eagle , saw a docco on your Bald Eagle and how close you guys came to losing this beautiful bird and how with good management and the banning of DDT it bounced back and was taken off the Endangered list in 2007 I think it was
that must have been a proud day for nature loving Americans

Thank you, Jimmy. The most majestic bird in the USA is the Bald Eagle. This is only my opinion.

Thank you, Beth, for the information. From late November to January 15 + or-, we have the Bald Eagles here and then they will disappear for another year. But, we are lucky to have them and to be able to get close to them for good photos. Lucky us.

There are many areas of this country to look and photograph this majestic bird, but this is one of the best and very popular for the quantity and ease of access. Plus you can easily get within 100 feet or so to get a good photo. But, this will last for about 6 weeks while the salmon are spawning then they will migrate to another lake or river to the South, gawler.

Unbelievable beautiful, Regis! The only problem is you left very little room for improvement!
