Wrong, I am finally glad someone has done something, people from that Era are dying and the Media is the only entity that has kept it going. We giv Milions to Turkey and other foreign countries, why not dump some more on a neighbour.. I just want to see a Cuban baseball game.

Go see a White Sox game!

Castro and Obama both got into power by lying to the people that helped them get into power and then doing what they wanted.

The problems I see here with many of the posts is they do not separate the people from the government. While it is nice to have sympathy for the people of Cuba the ones we are really doing business with are the rulers. The rulers could shut the people down in a heartbeat as they have done so in the past. Let us forget the trivial things like baseball, cigars, old cars and deal with the politics. That is why the embargo was established. The taker away of human rights. The oppression of the government. That is what Obama wants to give us. Let us not forget that Obama has done nothing for the American system of government not in 6 years and he continually destroys it on a day to day basis. We can turn a blind eye to our demise if we want and say all is well but it will be to our own peril. The other countries that continues to support Cuba did not help their system. The only one that has the ability to change that is America. In Communism it is the government that controls the people and not the people that control the government.

"Election has consequences." Executive orders and Presidential memos (overlooking the constitution)is not the way to rule in a democracy. Within the next year he will do what he, John Podesta, Valerie Jarrett...may like accomplish overlooking every check and balances. I think the functioning democracy has coming to an end at the Federal level.

Paul, I am sure if Bush would have done this you would scream "It's about time"

Not so! You see I am not party loyal and I can see through the Bushes. It is time you get your head out of your party and do the American thing.

It is nice to see some other people on here that know what is really going on.

None of the parties are above reproach.

How quickly you forgot what the Bush family has done for this country. Where are we know, you need only to look at the economy, Low interest rates continue, The lowest unemployment rates in 6 years, Stock market at an all time high, no recent war commitments and to top it off lower gas prices, what is up with you people, get off the soap box, I am afraid with certain mentality you may vote for Donald Trump now that would something to complain about and no I am not a Democrat. I voted for both Bush.s a regret I will never forget.

True that. There is, as always, more to the story with Cuba than just saying we want to be friends with them.

The unpleasant smell in the "Cuba is great let's be friends with them" room is the huge amount of money owed to US companies and US and Cuban citizens that were expropriated by the Castro Brother in the name of the State of Cuba. Under US law these can not be simply swept under the rug and forgotten about. That debt must be paid prior to any normalization of trade relations between the countries. Or, of course, change the law.

We had those thugs during the Bush Regime, it is just that the mistakes were so huge any other injustice seemed like nothing. You do know we will get no where with this banter, you dislike Obama and I Bush, that is what makes this country so great.

No that is what is dividing this country. That is what they all want to keep us from focusing on what they are doing to this country.

Read "Rules for radicals" and see what they are doing.
