The Vandenberge USAF base does touch & go's at our local airport.
This is a C-130 Hercules Cargo Plane California Air Guard. Camera was set on Auto no flash. So settings are different for each shot.
We also get F-15 Eagle, UH-60 Black Hawk, AH-1 SuperCobra, P-3 Orion etc.
With my new Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD Lens I will be no the look-out for more military aircraft to photograph.

Nick Mertes MSgt, USAF Retired.
Thank you Nick and who had the clean up duty
Ever stationed in Calif?

A lot of pilots refer to T&G as C&D. Spent my 1st 4 years in the Navy as a Photographer's Mate at NAS (now MCAS) Miramar just north of San Diego. My wife is from Monterey. We lived there in 1988-89 and moved back in 1992. Moved to Oklahoma in 2004. We would love to be back in the Monterey area permanently. Did get to spend a couple weeks there in September.

You have some good shots there and lots of different aircraft to shoot.
I used to be a flight engineer on on the P3, a great aircraft that is now being replaced by the Boeing P8.

Hi Erv, good to hear from you and thank you very much.
Just got some broken clouds at 4:00 AM. So I.m out shooting the Moon.
Post will be in Astronomical Photography Forum. We'll see if my new Tamron 150-600 can make me a better photographer.

Thank you for taking time to look at my photos.
Is the P8 a 737 in drag? A friend of mine was crew on an Orion P3 in Viet Nam.
