I have been looking at these for a while now and have been considering getting one. Any that you would suggest as there are different models, etc? My budget will not allow me to get the $1,000+ models so those are definitely out, lol.
Thank you in advance,
Dan

I've got the Wacom Intuos small tablet and find it to be very helpful in editing. It takes some getting used to but is much more accurate than a mouse. And certainly more accurate than a touch pad.

Thank you. Any issues at all with the smaller size?

I have the Intuos Medium because I won it at a Photography convention, but before that I had the small and it works great even with a larger monitor.

In fact, You can map the tablet to use as much or little as you want and I have mine set to use only a bit more that is on the small.

The Medium and larger sizes do have some extra features, so you decide what is best.

I have the intuos pro medium. Love it. I too have it mapped such that I am only usng a small portion of the area - perhaps around 50%. With that in mind, a small would've been more than adequate.

I have a larger one and at first I wondered if it was a mistake; however, now I use it a lot; better than a mouse for things like masking; a friend has a smaller wireless one and he likes it. I have to put my keyboard up to get room on the desk forthe pad. Highly recommended

Have the Walom medium...(used to be called bamboo)

Fun and useful when you get to know how to use it

I purchased a medium Wacom tablet and returned it for the small (Intuos Pro) because it was cumbersome to use with my two large monitors and all I really wanted it for was LightRoom and PhotoShop. The Small is perfect for that and doesn't take up so much real estate on my desk.

I bought the Intous Prom Medium and love it so much I went out and bought the Intous Pro small to travel with.

Even with 2 monitors, the small would be plenty or real estate if I had bought that first. On my Medium, I map only a portion of the tablet for use, so some of the real estate is wasted. My only loss on the small is two buttons on the side. The medium has 8, the small has 6. But if I had to buy again with what I know, I would just buy a small.
