We used to hang out at a drive-in restaurant called, "The Varsity Drive In". After a number of years, the place got seedy and picked up the nickname, "The Old VD." Bikers, fights, etc... Then the proprietor went to jail for shooting an innocent bystander during a robbery.
Fun times were had by all.

Ah yes. We used to drive the long 4 mile long main street from the high school at the north end of town to the A&W on the south end of town where we would generally hang out for awhile before making another loop only to return to hang out some more. Our car club, The Shifters, is still going strong I'm told from some of the guys who never left town after high school.
