I am amazed at the possibilities with Topaz Impressions. My nondescript sunflower photo, within a few minutes, is turned into a master...................well, I like it!

I like them both Ray, as well as the fact that you shared the before and after.

Thanks, Mike. This is going to be FUN! Gonna dig out some of those so-so's and transform them into van Goghs. :-D

Starting with an excellent image as you did makes it hard to get a bad result.

That is basically why I keep gigabytes of crapola that most people would flush. Perpetual optimism tells me that someday I will be able to make them better.

I'm shooting for that window between retirement and the pine box. :)

Thanks, Walt. The original was shot with my Canon Powershot G3 - 4mp. State of the art P&S at the time. Cost me around $800 with accessories. Now you can buy 'em for 100 bucks. I used it to shoot over 2,000 jewelry photos for my eBay store at the time. Don't ask me to shoot one more - thank you.

I am an old film/darkroom guy (Nikon F, Mamya RB67, etc.) and haven't done much PP. I am currently using my Canon T5i software along with PSE13 which I highly recommend if you have PSE9 or less and the complete Topaz suite.

I find that Topaz and other software are a life saver. If it wasn't for software, I'd be boooed off the site!
I know absolutely nothing about my camera other that auto focus and could care less.

I understand completely. I love to shoot but I have much more fun with the PP. Back when I would spend days in the darkroom dodging and burning.

I never got near a darkroom. Software seems much easier and more forgiving.
