From the article: "The U.S. Supreme Court considered Monday where to draw the line in protecting free speech on social media sites like Facebook."

Would UHH be considered 'social media'?

I'm curious as to why the title of the thread refers to the second amendment?

Words, if launched in the wrong direction, may hurt and can be classified as a weapon …..

"Anti-social media" would be a better description for the Attic section.

The title vs. content, belies a problem with this and other posts about amendments.

Side note, on another FIRST AMENDMENT ISSUE, they say it is illegal to yell fire in a non-burning theater, yet The boyfriend of Michael Wilson's mother (He was never, in any sense, his father- either legal or in practice- in fact Michael lived and was brought up by his grandmother), so a non-related man, with a record of felonies who has done substantial time in prison, is heard to yell "Burn the Bitch" referring to the town of Ferguson, which incites riots and inspires arson, and soon after happened.

I wonder if he will be prosecuted? Of if that will be another case of prosecutorial discretion, and if so, why?...

It's called diversion, bring in a non sequitur, leftists have a tendency to use frequently when they can't prove any valid point

They should have brought in the water cannons filled with the purple dye.

If they're purple they have some explaining to do.

I'd be willing to bet you that he is not even considered for prosecution because he is a "grieving" person.....It is crap and it is a double standard that needs to be corrected.

The first amendment isn't free speech everywhere, all the time. You cannot yell, 'FIRE' in a crowded area when there isn't one. On FB occasionally, there are crazies who want to kill the president. This should be illegal but FB protects speech. Words have consequences and people should be mature enough to know that. Arrest them, if members of UHH should voice death against a person, whether in the private sector or in public office, they should be detained.
