Anyone else get this very annoying popup wanting you to update Flash Player pro? If so, do you know if it is virus or malware? Thank you.

I get the flash pro pop up every time I get on this site. It won't let you close it on the screen. I just hit the back button and re enter the page and it is gone. It is very annoying. I don't know if it's a virus or not. But if you read closely it states it is not affiliated with Adobe.

Do not open it will open up your computer to hundreds of pop up adverts and is an absolute ba@@@rd to get rid of. I speak from experience!

I get it way too frequently - I have no idea if it's a virus, but I'm treating it like one. I had McAfee software on my computer and it didn't seem to do anything to stop it. Any of the scans didn't show any problems - said my computer was secure. I was getting all kinds of annoying popup ads saying my computer was infected and to call a certain number or download a specific software. I eliminated McAfee and replaced it with Norton. It ran a couple of scans and detected a number of viruses, which it eliminated. I'm still having a few problems but not nearly as many, and it did all start with the request to download flash!

Further to my above post, Norton 360 didn't detect this flash download as a problem. I believe a similar 'virus' regarding Java updates is also doing the rounds. I now ignore all pop up updates and will only download updates from the relevant home site. If you get a pop up request don't download but go to the home site and check for authenticity.

I suggest you get adblock (https://adblockplus.org/) It's free and you pay what you want/think it's worth to you. I've had almost no popups in the month plus I installed it. It was well worth the $25 I paid for it.

It even blocks popups on the UHH site!

I have SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBites. The first is free, the second is about $25.00 a year. I also run RegZooka, also free, once a day. These have really reduced pop ups. ccleaner.com does a great job cleaning my C drive. I run it every night when I am finished with the computer.
