All I bothered to take was my Nikon Coolpix 990.

Nice set!
I've traveled to Barcelona several times in my youth, and it is indeed a beautiful city so with many wonderful photographic opportunities.
Interesting and intriguing set of photos. Quite the yachts! And just look at the colorful variety of food. :)
Graham, very nice series and was that your daughter on the bike? Looks like you had a great trip. When I was there never did see that candy shop and that may be a good thing. Carole

Hy-Ya Carole, you have just made someone a very, very happy lady and a happy man actually, that lady on the bike is my wife. Did you just love La Ramblas. We also had two days on the open top City Tour Buses. You could jump on and off anytime and you knew the next bus would come along in ten minutes time. We had a day going Eastward and the next day going West. We enjoyed a five day break. We love tapas and the general Mediterranean food so all in all we had a grand time. We have an apartment in Garrucha in South Eastern Spain which is a small fishing Town but the big cities are more exciting and vibrant. The actual travelling time from our home to Barcelona is about, just four and a half hours.
Thanks for looking Carole and comments.

Thanks for looking, we have been to Barcelona three or for times but we always enjoy the City. There is so much to see. The weather wasn't brilliant on this occasion but what the hell, it is November. The first time I went was when my Soccer team Played against Barcelona in a European Cup Match about fifteen years ago.

Thanks for viewing, glad you enjoyed the snaps. Barcelona is all very photogenic, good job I took the battery charger along with us. I snapped 289 pics, how sad is that? :-(

Thanks for looking, your comments are spot on there is a picture to be taken in every direction you turn.
The hotel where we stayed at was based on a theatrical/movie theme. These giant posters were placed opposite the exits/entrances to the lifts/elevators on each floor of the hotel making them a striking site as the doors to the elevator opened. A great touch, we thought.
