When I saw this - a DC3 taking off just outside downtown Kansas City. No runway, it just used the road.

I'm thinking this is what journalists do, slant an image to tell a completely different story. You are right up there with the pros that are making the big bucks! ;-)

Love the DC3 used to a lot of skydiving & have many fond memories jumping out of these planes.
