I've had two Keurig minis. Neither one of them have heated my coffee sufficiently. I have to nuke my coffee after it's made. As far as the cost of the coffee....I'd never pay their costs. I buy coffee by the pound and use refillable k-cups. I have my coffee ground to a 4.

I've made a science of coffee temps....When I brew a cup in the morning, the mug is semi-chilled from being in the kitchen cabinet...so in about 10 minutes of mug time it is perfect for drinking....I often, however, get on this damned computer and let too much time pass me by, then I have to nuke it, I have a refillable K-Cup basket too, but it leaves too much sediment in the bottom of the cup for my taste...and also seems to spill over grounds. I've never had any problem with the coffee temps straight from the maker....I have some throat issues because of throat cancer in the past, so spicy and too hot of a temperature irritates it.

I'm now more of a tea drinker, primarily herbal teas, such as white or green tea. There's so much variety from which to choose.

Happy Birthday Nancy! I used to drink teas too. Did you know you could buy flavored Stevia online? I especially like the Valencia Orange in my orange flavored tea.

Hope you'll have a great birthday - I peeked, I thought Benji was your dog, mine's named Maggie. :)

After nuking the coffee, I pour it into a Starbucks double steel wall lined cup to keep it hot. I gave up drinking out of ceramic mugs a long time ago.

I bought a stainless steel coffee mug a few years ago at a pilot supply store near me. That thing was so great at keeping coffee warm....I drove down to a "fly-in" in Central Tennessee afterward to look at some airplanes I was interested in building. Before I left I filled that mug with coffee and off I went. It kept the coffee warm for the entire trip St louis to Central Tennessee....I don't remember the time but I think it was around four hours of driving. The mug died a few years ago and the one I have now is larger but not as efficient....The Pilots store closed for a while and when it reopened it did not carry those mugs.

I'm not a coffee drinker. There, I said it but, that was true last week, now I am. I have found two coffees that I love. Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Cream and Van Houtte Butterscotch Caramel. (Yes, I know, with cream and Stevia, they amount to little warm milkshakes!)

What is your favorite coffee? Flavored or unflavored? What brand?

Thanks for sharing.

Ok, I've revived this old dinosaur to tell y'all how I've found a new coffee. I use a Keurig and it's Donut Shop Nutty Caramel. Add Caramel Cream Stevia and some cream and it's wonderful!

Have you found any new ones?
