I went to school. I learned a few things . some I dident , so the teacher kept me after school tell I learnt them , now I forget what I learned any way . oh well live and learn , but to be fair I learnt nothing in school.

Ye it's an olde worlde Englishe worde.

In fact there was an original line in that great British film Zulu, where Micheal Cain, stood up in the middle and said "Don't go chucking feckin spears at me". I think it may have been cut for the American audience.
