I know that they've gone into a crisis meeting so there may be some problems, but even if we never hear another thing from the probe, it has been one hell of an achievement.

Agree! Read this morning that the harpoons didn't deploy, and the probe bounced twice. Going to be a news briefing at 2.

It's one heck of an audacious achievement, Rossetta is working as planned so even if philae isn't perfect the vast amount of planned science will still happen.
