I think that they are confusing the "origin's" of Black Holes with the "science" of Black Holes.

They certainly do exist; their effect can be observed...but their origin?

That's another question.

Next, they'll tell me there is no Santa Claus. Geeez.

(Mighty impressive effort.)

God again, huh? This time as incarnated ala Ken Ham.

You were a lot less boring when you were still a drunk, Pavich.
Since being "saved" you have dwindled your mind down to one answer to all questions. You used to be provocative every now and then. Since being "saved" you have given up thinking and replaced it with accepting one simplistic answer to all complex questions.

Although I have never been a drinker (or doper, etc.) I am going to suggest you regain control of your thought processes. Perhaps you should return to the bottle.

This a non-peer reviewed article written by a professor at UNC-CHeaters -- lack of credibility already exists simply based on the university (?) she represents.

I wonder if our universities will figure out that their manipulation of the truth in many areas (sexual assault, global warming and hundreds of other subjects) are leading people to suspect the WHOLE process is untrustworthy.

Or are they betting that the older, more logical generation will die off before their indoctrinated generations also can figure out a lot of what they were "taught" just does not add up?

It takes a year or two to get the brain chemistry right after giving up drug addiction. Yes alcoholism is drug addiction.

Twelve step programs rely on the "higher power" yet many use the group itself as their "higher power."

I'm in awe over discoveries such as gravity, space-time, black holes, strings etc. that are derived from mathematics. I remember the remarkable example when astronomers proved Einstein's theory of bending light behind a heavenly body.

I look forward to other mathematics on the subject of black holes. While I do not understand, I still find myself interested.

I just hope they don't mess with the Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy.

While I don't know the origin of your statement I have to say that is just plain rude and unnecessary in my view. Are you not able to disagree without putting someone down?

They won't mess with the Tooth Fairy because the Secret Service protects him.

And the earth is flat, evolution is true, there is no intelligent life out there, and atomic physicists have no clue.
