On the speedlight I assume. I was using a snout for the Canon 430EX, angled in from the side.

For highlight comparison, I would be interested in seeing near-identical photo, but with larger (6x8-inch) softbox diffused light source.

Best I can do is a 4X6 softbox. ISO 200 at f/11, Lens = EF100mm f/2.8 Macro USM, Flash Exposure Compensation: 0 = first, +2/3 = 2nd and 3rd
