To each their own. I'll take clean air air and clean water no matter what the snow amount. I missed the changing of the seasons, also. Getting a new car battery and set of tires every three years. Putting a wheel lock on your car when going to the mall or movie because your car would be gone and across the border in pieces when you tried looking for it. I could go on, but you get my point. :-) I'm glad you enjoy living there.

Oops! I forgot to mention the traffic in Phoenix, also. HELP!!!!!!

We've never had any of the car problems you write about but then we live in Sun City just west of Phoenix and really enjoy it. Yup, to each his own. We lived most of our lives in the mid west and finally got fed up with the winters.

I lived near and shopped at the Safeway in Tucson where the congresswoman was shot and several people were killed. I moved from there to here in MN 15 years ago and have never looked back.
We get on a plane to places like Denver, Hawaii, and other warm places when we need a break from the winters here.
