My wife and I made a trip out west about three months ago to attend an air force Vietnam veterans reunion in Denver. Afterwards we travelled some and did a two week tour of the general area. I have seen some absolute beautiful photos posted by others of the area and just thought I would share a few from this trip.

The downloads are just beautiful. Thanks.
Excellent series of pictures!!! Mount Moran really stands out with the lighting, looks like you used studio lighting.

That first one is absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely great series Sammy, I love the fourth shot.
Thank you for your service!!!
Ditto what everyone posted. Beautiful pics! What equipment did you use?
Thanks all for your kind comments. Made this old guy's day.
Bugguy, it was an entry level DSLR, the Nikon D3000; used a 300MM lens for some pics.
  looks like you had a nice trip and got to capture some nice photos.
Awesome! inspiring for those that feel it's not neccessary to spend a fortune on gear to get great results. Your work also supports those that feel it's more inportant to spend the money on the lens rather then the camera, assuming the 300mm is a prime lens. I don't want to get off subject, "thanks" for the reply and post more
