Great shots! Don't have any extension tubes. Might give them a try.

Just received my extension tubes for the Lumix DMC-6 and took them for a walk with the HD-45-150 Lens. These dragonflies were absolutely miniature, not more than 1/2 to 1 inch overall size. Not much PP done on these with the exception of some slight cropping. Posting 5 images Please try the downloads.

You are working them well Jim

Great set

Glad you enjoyed them Collie lover; they open up a whole new world for your photography. They don't limit you to insects, miniature flowers, leaves, ultra close-ups on birds and on and on. Thanks so much for your visit and very nice comment. Much appreciated. :-D

A great set of shots Jim. I shoot 90% dragons and damsels and use a Sigma "BigMa" 50-500mm and 63 mm of extension tubes on a tripod with an external flash. Yeah it's heavy but I've gotten use to it. Keep posting those dragons!

Glad you liked them Doc, this is pretty much new territory for me and I've got a lot to learn. I will try another combination with bigger lens and see how that works out. Thanks so much for the good words and the information. Really appreciate your visit and nice comments. :-D
