Great shots Carolina Wings, looks like they are getting serious for an early family, well done. Can't wait to see the little ones

Thanks Gregory...they usually don't even start mating till late January or early February...so seems rather early for nest building ;-)

This seems a little early for nest building...but who am I to say ;-) This nest is pretty high...so rather far for my 300mm lens to reach.

Canon 300mm Prime Lens
ISO 400
Aperture f/5.6
Shutter Speed 1/800th

Great shots. They sure do make some big nests.

Maybe they know more about the climate changes then we do. Both parents were at the nest, it will be interesting to see what happens next.

Nice shots, Jan. Sometimes I, too, attempt to overextend my 55-300mm lens when I could simply go to my SX50. Keep us posted on their progress.

Great set of images Jan. if you were to lighten up #10 a bit (if the ISO and the crop can take it) it could easily be one of the best eagle shots I've seen.
Like them a lot just the way they are though.

Thanks Lorima...glad you liked the shots! If you've seen how big those Baby Eaglets get...I sometimes wonder how it holds them all ;-)
