I have a Canon 40D and love it, but it is getting old. Should I get the new 7D Mark2 or go full frame and get the 6D. Is there a big enough difference in image quality to justify by passing all the new features of the new 7D Mark2?

Full frame is the way to go long term, but the final choice has to be yours
Money and lenses are a big consideration, and go to a dealer and get a feel for both

Check with good dealer . Get a feel for the equipment . You have to make the final choice . You will get as many recommendations as there are members ! Many good systems out there . Budget?

Welcome to the hog Wayne .I haven't had much contact with either camera I do use a Canon 60D and love it. But, if i were to trade my 60D in, i probably would opt for a full frame. Hope this helps.
